If you are, then you'd better watch out—from behind, a figure leaps from the corner, fake aluminum and cardboard sword in hand! Who could it be but the most devilish of all villains...!]

[Yes, it's Elicia donning pirate wear! Or, at least, an eyepatch and a saber. Close enough, right? She's been hearing an awful lot about pirates, and with this whole 'Halloween' thing coming up, she has a lot to think about! :U]

Are there lots of flowers here in Luceti, mister? My mama had pretty flowers, so maybe I can find one to take care of, too!!

Yeah, there are! Lots of different kinds and so many different colors! You should ask your daddy sometime to take you to the flower shop here. I'm sure they'd be able to give you a flower to take care of. [He remembers the pictures that were shoved into his face. He knows who you are and who your daddy is. So seeing who your daddy is, he's pretty sure daddy would be unhappy if he took you himself to the flowershop.]

[Indeed, papa would have to cut a bitch.... or maybe just have a very stern and disappointed lecture at hand.]

There's a flower shop here?! Reaaaally?!

They have all kinds of flowers too. Big ones and small ones. I bet they could find the perfect flower for you to take care of there. Very pretty flowers.

You don't? Me neither! Maybe we can learn the names of them sometime—'cause it's really important to know flowers' names! We don't wanna hurt their feels, right?

That's right! It's very important that we learn all the names of flowers that we can! It wouldn't be very nice to hurt their feelings at all!

Maybe I can look for books at school, and I can show you them! There's lots of books to look at...

Oh! I have a flower book in my room right now. I was looking up what kind of flowers live after the winter is over. The flowers in books are very pretty, but I think the real things are the best, don't you?

M-maybe... you can bring it over sometime for me to see?

I wanna learn the flowers...

I think I could do that. I live just downstairs.

[EXCITED JUMPING COMMENCE!!]

[Laughs, you're so damn cute.] Give me a few minutes and I can go get it right now.

[She nods determinedly and sits down near her front door, smoothing out her dress.]

I can wait! I'm good at waiting!

Alright then, I'll be right back! [Off he goes to get his book. He'll be back in a few minutes.]

[SHE IS A VERY PATIENT GIRL!

And thus she shows off her mad skillz by not moving well just a few feet to the side]

[Vash will just be sitting down next to you with the book in his lap.] Now, what were those flowers called you liked?

Magnolias!

That starts with a M-A~! They're white and make little bowls with their pedals!

[She motions said bowl-like shape with her hands.]

When they fall off, you can put them on water and they float like boats!

Okay! Let's see... [He flips through the book for a bit - when A-HA! magnolias.] ...these here?

Elicia makes a happy girly noise and nods, holding the book and looking at the picture.]

Yeah, yeah!! These ones~!

[And she holds the book close, swiveling her shoulders side to side in a gesture of affection.]

Mama had some of these on the windowsill—I liked them a lot!
