If you are, then you'd better watch out—from behind, a figure leaps from the corner, fake aluminum and cardboard sword in hand! Who could it be but the most devilish of all villains...!]

[Yes, it's Elicia donning pirate wear! Or, at least, an eyepatch and a saber. Close enough, right? She's been hearing an awful lot about pirates, and with this whole 'Halloween' thing coming up, she has a lot to think about! :U]

[She nods determinedly and sits down near her front door, smoothing out her dress.]

Alright then, I'll be right back! [Off he goes to get his book. He'll be back in a few minutes.]

[SHE IS A VERY PATIENT GIRL!

And thus she shows off her mad skillz by not moving well just a few feet to the side]

[Vash will just be sitting down next to you with the book in his lap.] Now, what were those flowers called you liked?

Magnolias!

That starts with a M-A~! They're white and make little bowls with their pedals!

[She motions said bowl-like shape with her hands.]

When they fall off, you can put them on water and they float like boats!

Okay! Let's see... [He flips through the book for a bit - when A-HA! magnolias.] ...these here?

Elicia makes a happy girly noise and nods, holding the book and looking at the picture.]

Yeah, yeah!! These ones~!

[And she holds the book close, swiveling her shoulders side to side in a gesture of affection.]

Mama had some of these on the windowsill—I liked them a lot!

Oh, so they remind you of your mom do they? [He can definitely appreciate that!]

Yeah! Flowers do. And baking, and coloring, and...

You miss her don't you? You know, it's okay to be sad and miss her now and then.

I hope she's not lonely. She's really tough, but she can get lonely sometimes. When papa left, she was sad..

What if I made her sad, too?

Well, I was told that when we come here that the world back home stays still until we go back. So your mommy probably doesn't even know you're gone. So you don't have to worry about making her sad.

[asobouyo]

Really?? Then she won't be sad? She won't know?

[She perks up a little at this news.]

Nope! See, while we might go a whole day here not even a second passes back home. Time just moves differently between here and home.

[asobouyo]

[Phew!]

Then that's good! I can take papa home when they let us ago and mama will be aaaall okay~! And then I can even tell her about how I had cool wings!

[She flaps them a little, unconsciously.]

[Vash isn't the type to crush someone's dream. More so if it's a good dream. Besides, he's already decided he's going to try to take Wolfwood back with him if he can.]

Yeah, and if you'd like until your dad can take you to the flower shop, would you like to borrow my book?

[asobouyo]

You'd let me borrow it? Really really?

[He nods and hands it over.] As long as you give it back when you're done with it.

[She hugs the book carefully.]

I promise to! I'll take really good care of it, and I'll never let anything happen to it.

[She's suddenly quiet for a moment, and then runs off into the apartment.]

One sec!!

[asobouyo]

[She returns in a few seconds holding a small gray something. It's a mouse! A toy wind-up mouse.]

You take this! Until I give the book back. That way we'll be equal!

[She smiles happily.]

It means a lot to me, so you have to take care of it in return, like I will with your cool book. Okay?
