[The bad news... Elicia's brothers were gone. So while the house waited for them to show back up, Elicia did the same. But she was in high enough spirits, at least, with Christmas just around the corner. And when she was finished with her usual occupational things on weekends she cracked open her journal sleepily, laying cross-legged on her stomach, on her made bed.]

Did lots of you have Christmas at home? Was it nice?

[She beams with her cheek resting on her arm.]

This is gonna be my second one!! I hope Santa thinks I've been a good girl, 'cause I've been trying extra hard not to be bad, so I'd get good presents! Make sure you're all good, okay? So you can get a lotta' presents, too...! What's the best present you got from him before?

[Aah! She perks up, looking at her window, bright-eyed in an instant.]

It's snowing again! I'm gonna make some snow people! You guys should make some, too!

[Action]

[Elicia'll be outside for the rest of the day, crouched low and rolling snowballs out of the thin veil on the floor. Soon, there are stacked snowballs. And then, eyes on them. And then little stick arms. By the time it's three or four? Behold—dozens and dozens of little snow men surrounding House #23!! They may be the height of a ruler, but their numbers are many! It's like Snow Sparta around here.

Don't be alarmed if some have little weapons fastened to their hands made of sticks. That's just how we roll in Elicialand.]

[Elicia has had a really great New Feather round. For one thing, dad was back. For another, so was Sanji. These reasons alone made her the happiest person in all of Luceti (save for maybe... I dunno, Grune. She's always pretty happy and stuff. Oh, and that dog Dug she hasn't met yet). But otherwise, happiest! And when she pops in on video to address the populace, she's got a big ol' smile. Even if she sounds a little stuffy.]

Hi, new feathers! My name's Elicia! It's getting real cold, so make sure you all got real warm coats, okay?? 'Cause getting a cold is not a good thing; your nose gets real stuffy and you go through... a lot of tissues...

[aah—achoo!

... She might be coming down with something. It happens to the best of us.]

Ummm, I wanna make really tasty hot chocolate and cookies and give them to you... I think I'm gonna ask mama and papa if we can go to the Welcome place so I can... Or maybe I can give the nice people who work there some, so they can give to people...!

[UM UM. IS THERE MORE.]

Oh, yeah! My papa and my big bro are here again, so make sure you say hi! My papa's name is Maes, but lots of people call him Hughes, and my big bro is Sanji—he's a cool chef at the restaurant, so you should definitely try his food! And my papa is a military guy! Is there other people who work in the military? You should meet him!

[... one more thing!]

And Mr. Uncle Jack, I gotta see you again so I can give you back your cool compass, so if you want it...!

asobouyo: (gone away)
[Action // Thursday, September 22nd]

[It's been eight days since her father left, and despite her searching, she hasn't found him. But this was Luceti. He was here even though he couldn't be back home, so obviously he'd just reappear here again, like mama did! With this knowledge firmly in place, and when school would begin--after a few days of staying home, courtesy of a worried mother--she would carefully sneak around after class was over to survey the forest nearby the building. Not enter it. But listen and squint into the dimness of it.

He might be there. They don't know. Just because all of his stuff went away... maybe the robots took it all, too!

Sleeping in mother's room is a must, for now. For both of them. It makes it a little easier, having someone to hug in the mornings or bitter earlier hours.

She answers the door with a determined sort of look on her face, but it falls instantly when she sees who it is. It's not your faults, really. She's still happy to see you, and the small, shy smile a few moments later says as much. It's just... not what she was hoping for. And then, sitting outside became a habit. Well, it was always important on her list of things to do—to sit on the porch and draw or play. Playing can wait. Just for a few more days. Papa might show up. Gotta stay vigilant. No time for journals, or anything like that, right?

... M-maybe just a little journaling. But nothing new. No... she can go back to old entries and look at them again. Any tears? Well... She cried a little, when it first happened. But crying now would be bad. Shikamaru said it, he told her before when she ripped her doll:

Crying didn't fix anything.

So. She would try not to cry. Even if it was... growing harder not to.]

[Written]

papa

wen you com back

plees com home.

asobouyo: (Clinging time?)
[The draft took a lot out of her. When she returned to Luceti, she walked soundlessly back toward home, as quiet as a mouse when entering; she didn't want to wake them. Not right now. But if anyone wants to run into her during her walk back, they'll find a girl with bruises and scrapes walking along the path back home.

... It'll be the last time to speak with her, anyway.

And so it goes... )

[She begins to write notes. They're small and will never cover all she would want to cover, but they're still important nonetheless; anyone on the list who gets one can try to reply if they'd like, but it'll be met with silence. Silence, because as her head lulls and the pen drops from her hand, the faint noise of droids beyond her window carry on to the house. Time to go.

Time to leave.

As her vision fades to black, she drops her sword, but it's gone not much later, without her or her journal there as well.]

Horsies!! And all sorts of different animals!

[Luceti Land has a small, overly excitable voice making a ruckus in both the journals and across the amusement park grounds, as she runs to inspect the tall, impressive carousel with her journal in hand. She rushes to the snack stands, to the game stands, to stare in awe at the bright, colorful lights. It's still nighttime--in fact, it hasn't been but an hour since she returned as a six-year-old--but she doesn't seem fazed by the fact that it was technically going into the morning now.

No, instead, she's looking excitedly through the journal as a tall roller9coaster ride zig-zags around the track, in the distance; there is a clear sign of cotton candy edging her mouth and hand, but she doesn't seem to mind this.]

Papa, mama! Did you see what they did? There's rides everywhere! And they have lots of candy! Lots! Did Mr. Bil make this one, too? It's even bigger than the castle!

[What is that—could it be...?]

Whooooa, Can I go on the big tea cups? They're so cool! Can I?

[She's... seemingly unaware that she was away from the village, or had ever been mallynapped, and hanging around away on an island for Luceti Land. It had to just be like her birthday, when the things appeared for no reason...! There's just no other reasoning to follow, right? This calls for big licorice sticks and dolls.]

((ooc: That's the end of the grown-up!Elicia mallynap. Thanks so much for making it a lot of fun ;~;

Lots of back-tagging and normal tagging to be done tomorrow! :|b))
asobouyo: (SCREAAAAA—)
[What a pleasant day... The birds are chirping, the breeze is gentle, the sun is sunny—

CHILDREN ARE SCREAMING D8]

KYAAAAA, PAPA, MAMA!!

[What, that isn't a normal Elicia post? The journal is practically flung across the kid's room as the sound of panicked footfalls rush around the general vicinity. There's the thud of an apple, as it rolls into view in the screen, and then a teary cry of disbelief soon after. PANIC PANIIIIC!!]

Was it s'pposed to fall out?! It's gone! The apple took my tooth! My whole tooth!

[It's really gone! One of her bottom incisors is gone! Now her smile isn't as toothy! What should she do?!]

I-I'll ask the tooth fairy to put it back! She'll put it back!

[The camera is angled, but it at least picks up a pigtailed little girl rushing to her bed and stuffing the little white tooth hastily under her pillow. And then she sits anxiously at her bedside, watching and waiting, waiting...! She checks it, only to find it's still there! Okay, maybe she just needs to wait a little more! ... IT'S STILL THERE. D':

/SCREAM

She finally addresses the journal itself, cheeks red.]

How do I put back a tooth?!

((sort of babysitting
heh, but I should be able to go tag-crazy in 1-2 hours 8D))
asobouyo: (zzzzz)
[[Nighttime; June 23rd]]

[Elicia had had a tough week.

Shuffle, shuffle—the sound of turning blankets and small feet moving back and forth through them. She's been rolling in her sleep for a few minutes now, flipping her hidden journal into a little book tepee, while it records the buzzing air and soft incoherent murmurings of a child dreaming. They're not happy dreams, after a while, and it takes but a moment before she's wide awake and horrified and crawling under her blankets with her mouth in a shaky near-crying line. The journal. That's right.

She reaches over and opens it up all the way, unable to see anything in the dark. Her voice is watery and lined with a sort of innocent, hurt desperation when she speaks.]

[Voice]

Please tell me a story. I wanna hear stories, if anyone... wants to talk... I like them a lot. I—I promise I'll go back to sleep, but I just wanna hear one...

[Pretty, pretty please...

But despite stories, sometime in the night, she rises up from her bed and patter-pitters quickly into her parents' room. Scary, they're too scary—and they could be real. Because she's seen scary real things like it before. And the last thing she wanted was a blue-eyed woman slowly creaking out of her closet, like she kept imagining, over and over and over again...]

[[Daytime; June 24th]]

[It was a cold snap, today. Elicia wore her poofy pink jacket for the occasion. Truth be told, she's had a very tiring night of trying to sleep, and she'd failed at it fairly well. There were a mesh-up of things. Scary things. She didn't want to draw any of them, so she decided on focusing her attention to playing. By the end of her short-lived playtime outside, she's laying on her arm on the front steps of her house, the fake pink sword Law gave her still clamped in her hand.

A good nap. There was nothing scary... Just good. That was important. It's a good thing children bounce back well enough, even if only for a while, because she's got a content air about her later on in the day. Anyone who wants to visit, now's a great time to; she'll be drawing funny circles all over the ground outside with a stick. Clapping her hands and smacking them. And nothing happens. :|

But she sure as hell is pretending something's happening.]

WHAT'S UP, ELICIA? )

((ooc: Just make it clear which day you're replying to and all that. I have faith in you. |Db))
asobouyo: (YOU SUCK MAN)
[Action/Accidental video]

[Aaaand her journal goes tumbling over on its side, peering up to capture Elicia... in the middle of adventure. That is, she's got a red towel cape on, and a foam basebat bat in the other, in front of Winry's house. Also, Shiro the bear and Shiva the polar bear are currently tied up back-to-back in the distance. They're really in a pickle, man.]

Let them go, evil villain!!
Or I'll use my giant robot to stop you once. and. for. all!!

['CAUSE WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM. B(

Also, talkin' to the two tied-up stuffed animals:]

Don't worry, Chef-Pirate Sanji! I'll save you and Warrior Fighter Longshot in noooo time, so hang on!

[Let her warm up her Kamina impression. Basically sounding confident = VICTORY. And if she's going to be the youngest robo pilot, it has to be legit.]

And I've got a cool sidekick--they can kick lots of butt, too, mister! [Keh!!] 'Cause we're the strongest heroes in the whole universe!!

[If you're passing by in the background? SHE'S TALKING TO YOU. Yeah, you, with the face. If you happen to be passing by for some [action] and adventure, you CAN write [action/video], because she'll be accidentally recording all of this for your if you want friends and family to enjoy it in future movie theaters. :|b

...And yes, people can comment to your video thread, if you want some first-hand embarrassment for the people who actually play along. Anyone who just wants to comment on the video in general can just assume she's talking to air, then. |D]
asobouyo: (Asobou!)
[Okay, so the last time she was on-air, it was depressing as hell. But now? After reassurances from so many people? Elicia just can't let her mama down. She can be sad, yes—lots of people said it was okay to cry or be sad when you really are. But after that, she just had to make sure that Gracia would be up-to-speed whenever she did come back. That said, she now has (must to many people's dismay, probably) a pink camera with flowers on it hanging around her neck.

If she knows you and you happen to be passing by the school or her apartment, she may just jump out and take a picture of you! >8^D

If she knows you, be prepared. She will get you. Do not doubt her.
Because she is a wonderful photographer like that.

CR who knows her papa well enough for Hughes to trust them with his daughter (such a small list, sob)? Be prepared for a visit sooner or later this week! She is totally visiting everyone and just enjoying the hell out of company—it keeps her occupied, and the sting of her mother's absence is far easier to ignore among friends. Winry? Let's have a sleepover. A nice, girly sleepover, with hair products and scary stories and sugar. Nami, she wants to come over for a tea party. Or maybe a chocolate milk party. WHAT SAY YOU?

And then when that's all said and done, it'll be time for the usual video post:]

Hi, guys! I hope everyone's feeling good today!

I got a big question, 'cause I've been thinking a lot and I reaaally wanna know! What's a really happy day you had here in Luceti? A really happy day where you were just real, real happy! One you won't never ever forget!

[...one more little question. For now.]

O-oh... and, um... I was wondering—where are the pictures on movies? How does a funny disc have sound and pictures on it...?
asobouyo: (THE SADDEST!!)
[Gracia's gone.

Elicia didn't expect such an impossible idea again, not after having to experience it a first time when she herself had first arrived without her mother. Despite the news and the tears that followed, she still went to school. Be brave, be strong; mama never cried in front of people. So she won't either. She sits through her classes, blank-faced, attentive. Papa must be hurting really bad right now, too, just like mama did when he left.

So she has to be tough, like him.

School is out, and she sits quietly where she always does for her father, near the doors. Expressionless. She goes through her bag, taking out her journal and tucking it behind backpack, taking her fairytale book, tucking it behind her journal, searching, searching—and at last pulls out her sketchpad to draw while she waits; she really doesn't feel the urge to right now, but she's not sure what else to do. She flips open the front, and sees a picture of all three of them.

...all three.

Elicia hugs the sketchbook close to her, crushing her bag and everything in it. The journal slips down at her side, recording the almost-silence; little, quiet sobs shake the backpack, muffled in it. The blank look twists into a pained one, downcast into her drawing.]

...W-where did you go...? You were here, mama... Papa and I want you to come back...!!

Please come back...
asobouyo: (PAPAAAAA!!)
[Sup, guys! Elicia is running a-muck at home and is probably going to implode from sheer joy of having two (2) parents here now. After a few months of motherlessness and a whole two years of it back home, she finally feels some awful contentment that she'd been longing for since her father had passed—no, she wasn't aware of this, but it was still there. And it felt so wonderful.]

Hiiii, new people! I'm Elicia, and I'm 5! Are you guys doing okay? Are you getting all your vegetables and clothes and houses okay?

[Aaaaand of course, she's been also talking to people as usual. And as usual, she's got far too many questions to contain herself.

So in her video is a jumble of 8D and questions.]

Hey, hey! Luceti's a really special place, right? 'Cause lots of people here come from different places and stuff! I met someone who can talk to clouds! Didja' know you can do that? They're really high up and maybe they're kinda hard to hear, but you can speak to them, if you try real hard...

What kinda things can you talk to at home? Can you—[gasp!]—can anyone talk to the animals? That'd be so cool, to talk to kitties and the puppies! I wanna do that, too...

But I also wanna learn how to ride my bike with only two wheels...

[She's got her head in the clouds for a moment, because which of these is more important to come first...

but then she remembers the most important thing EVER.]

OH!!

[THE EXCITEMENT IS PALPABLE.]

And guess what? Guess what?!

Mama's here now!

My mama's really here! So you guys gotta be really nice, 'cause she's really nice. And if you ask her and you're real polite, she might make you her pie; it's the bestest pie there is! Her name's Gracia, and she's got short hair and a pretty smile...

[She makes her most suitable giggle-face for this situation. Honestly, she just can't help it. It is a good week in Luceti. ;3;]
asobouyo: (I hate this episode.)
[Elicia woke up, stretched with a wide yawn, and then discovered sleepily that it was cold and her bed was a familiar tree log. Oh—

Oh, they let her go...! She remembers being confined to a cell, but they hadn't really done much but feed her really nasty food. And give her nasty syrup. So when she starts walking through the forest, she finds they actually gave her shoes and a long-sleeve for her troubles. Her hair was let down from the usual pigtails, giving a little extra protection for her ears. So... she was actually doing pretty well.

Hm. Which way was home...

She puts on her best brave face and opens her journal.]

I'm sorry I got lost, but the bad guys let me go... Papa, are you there? Don't worry! I'm okay! I was really brave!

[The sudden realization that she's okay and back in a safer place brings a few tears to her eyes, and she wipes them away.]

I'm sorry I left, but I'm here, s-so... I wanna go home now.
asobouyo: (N-no way!)
[The feed had started out with Elicia sitting on the couch, showing off different drawings for the day, bringing up the idea of camping—about maybe sleeping over at Winry's house. But soon the peace is lost when something off camera forces open the front door. There's the muffled noise of Hughes—calling out something, something that one can't make out too well, but it's fairly obvious what it's about when Elicia jumps off the couch and runs into her room, journal hanging open in her one hand.

Noises of metal clashing against metal, quieted when Elicia closes her door and does what her father tells her; she hides in her closet, hugging the journal until it's just a black video screen.

...Quiet.

And then footsteps. But they seem heavy.]

...Papa...?

[The door is pulled open and a robotic hand juts across the video screen, grabbing Elicia before the still rolling journal finally falls and flips shut.]
asobouyo: (Such a creeper.)
[Audio]

[Pat. Pat. Pat!

The sounds of hands slapping paper happens a few times, as well as a young voice speaking to herself—and then scribble noises, like the usual sounds of drawing. She huffs when nothing happens, because that's the very opposite of what she was hoping for...]

...Awwww... the letter 'R' isn't alive either...

[There's a few scrip-scruff sounds of knees shuffling across the ground, toward the journal, and it's back in her hands, though she hadn't realized it'd been on for a few minutes prior.]

It's getting really cold! Everyone should get lots of blankies, for when it snows!

[a pause]

It'll snow, right? It snows sometimes at home, and it's cold here, too, so it's just gotta! Then we can make a fat happy snowman, and maybe some cool snow angels... But I get sad sometimes, because all the flowers go away when it's really cold outside. They must not be warm enough, huh?

[Action]

[Elicia will be at the school like usual at the sane time of the day, when everything's settled and kids will start getting out soon; maybe a few are already running about in wait for their parents. She's found herself the nearest pole and is currently... tying a... rope around it? Huh. Strange. Feel free to pester her about what she's doing.

Or, if your character is so willing, after school she's returned to playing outside of her and her papa's apartment room (Building 4, Floor 6). Buuut she's not in as good a mood—the reason may be obvious when you look down at her feet to discover a deflated bouncy ball, no longer round or bouncy. :(

A stray nail must have popped it! Or maybe she accidentally stepped on it instead of kicked it! Or maybe the aliens came down and denied her some happy fun times.

Whatever the case, Elicia is officially the Luxo Jr. of Luceti.]

[ooc: replying to tags tomorrow morn'! ^^]
asobouyo: (romantic comedy!)
[Oh, most of you should know what time of the week it is. That's right, it's time to rain Elicia News all over the journals. She's just sitting with the usual happy expression~~]

It sure was scary before, but I was really brave—so don't worry, 'cause if you're brave, too, you're gonna be fine! I'm sad we didn't get to go get candy, but I got to make funny pumpkins with Winry and Al and papa, so that's okay! I had a lot of fun~!! ...B-but if you still have cool costumes... can I have them? I mean, only if you're throwing them away! I don't like seeing cool costumes going away when you can play pretend in them after Halloween!

Mr. Tsuzuki, can we still plant candy trees? That'll be a lot of fun! Ah—and he's gonna teach me flower names, and I got a book from Mr. Bob that'll help; we're gonna draw all types of flowers, so I can learn them~!! If you want, I'll teach you guys how to draw special flowers, after I do!

[But she shall not mention learning the 'flower language', because that is top. secret.]

And I got something—um, um, I heard there's new people! Hiii, I'm Elicia, and I'm five years old! I made you something special, like how my teacher at home did for me and my friends!

[And after some scuffling around, she holds up her marvelous banner!!

Beautiful! A+! :D]
asobouyo: (Terror)
[Elicia's sitting curled up on the couch with a blanket pulled up close to her head, looking a little worried. Because lord, it's a scary world out there right now, what with this fog and all that.]

It's getting really scary outside... A-and there are voices! I hope they're okay....!

[She stops abruptly, listening and suddenly hearing—w-was it?! It sounded just like her, and she was calling for help—The journal falls off the couch face down, and the audio continues on as her footsteps pitter-pattered further and further off. She couldn't just leave mama out there! She sounded so scared...!]

Mama!! Mama's in the fog! Somebody help her—she's screaming—!!

[And the front door of the apartment hits the wall loudly on her way out.]

[ooc: papa will stop her, don't worry! All video replies are dated for a little bit later in-gamewise; if your character wants to come in a little later, they can see the other replies Elicia gave some people. <:^)]
asobouyo: (Cuz I gotta' plan!)
[Are you walking though a certain hallway in CH4, Floor 6? Or are you passing casually by the front of the school? If you are, then you'd better watch out—from behind, a figure leaps from the corner, fake aluminum and cardboard sword in hand! Who could it be but the most devilish of all villains...!]
WHO COULD IT POSSIBLY BEEE?!?! )

asobouyo: (No fair.)
[Elicia is totally grown-up. I mean, she's five whole years old! And as such, she of course needed her own room with her own little bed. One little issue: she doesn't quite enjoy the heavy rain and thunderstorm outside. She has made a resolute promise to herself that she wouldn't run like a bat out of hell into her father's room, even if the noises and colors scare her silly. And like all little kids, she doesn't realize that promises like these are silly, because that's what papas are for anyway, right?

The journal opens quietly as she hides under her blankets in her sleeping gown, frowning into her hands.

And yes, it's about 1 in the morning. Some of you must be up, right?]

When you're scared, what do you do to make it all better?

[She makes a squeaky noise when another loud boom of lightning flashes.]

I-I mean, if someone is scared... and stuff...
asobouyo: (what the fuck)
[A New Feather is currently hiding out in an old hollowed out log in the forest, cold and very upset. After all, it's not everyday that someone ends up in some strange new place! And with the angel wings on her back, she can't help but wonder what the heck just happened. After a very tiring hike through a very big forest (to a five-year-old, at least), she'd decided to stop and, uh, wait for help. Because people would definitely come for her! And she shouldn't be afraid while she waited, because she was a big girl.

Besides, mama says when you're upset or worried, just do what you really enjoy doing... A-and she did have a cool new book...

If you happen to look in yours, you may notice some very wonderful artwork spamming your pages, looking a little something like this:]

[Welcome to Elicia-ville. Population: lots of funny-looking flowers and animals.]
