3rd Teddy Bear [Video][Eaaaarly morning of the 15th]

[Elicia is totally grown-up. I mean, she's five whole years old! And as such, she of course needed her own room with her own little bed. One little issue: she doesn't quite enjoy the heavy rain and thunderstorm outside. She has made a resolute promise to herself that she wouldn't run like a bat out of hell into her father's room, even if the noises and colors scare her silly. And like all little kids, she doesn't realize that promises like these are silly, because that's what papas are for anyway, right?

The journal opens quietly as she hides under her blankets in her sleeping gown, frowning into her hands.

And yes, it's about 1 in the morning. Some of you must be up, right?]

When you're scared, what do you do to make it all better?

[She makes a squeaky noise when another loud boom of lightning flashes.]

I-I mean, if someone is scared... and stuff...

Yeah, I do. I share an apartment with two of my friends, so if something did happen it'd be no big deal.

Got it in one. Been using a sword since I was a kid.

Have you fought monsters?

I don't know about a hero, but I have fought some monsters.

What... kinds of monsters?

Were they scary?

Creatures called Heartless. They come from the darkness in people's hearts, and they're always found lurking in the shadows.

Luckily, my friend Sora managed to take care of them before, and I took a stab at them before I came here.

That's really scary!

Well, there's darkness in every heart, and it's that darkness that attracts the Heartless.

But I wouldn't worry about that here. So far, Heartless have never been a problem in this world. If they ever did show up, they wouldn't even have a chance to attack.

Y-you and your friend'll take care of them if they show up, right?

That's right. They'd be gone before they could even think about attacking anyone.

Thanks a lot... that's really brave of you, Mr. Riku...

Just be really careful if you have to fight, okay? A-and if you ever get hurt, I know how to use bandages for stuff...
