asobouyo: (it's a bird! it's a plane!)

31st Teddy Bear [Backdated to Friday | Action/Video]

[Action]

[Life goes on.

And for Elicia, losing quite a few loved ones in such a short time-frame hasn't entirely exhausted her youthful determination. She has a super hero to look out for her papa. And she has Jack's special compass. The last few days she's been outside her school with said magical device, pacing back and forth, watching the small needle turn and turn with no set destination. It's what she's doing today, pacing and watching it never stop. They weren't here. The people see was waiting for, that is. It's what she wanted most, and 'cause they're not here the compass says no.

Well, she'd just try again tomorrow!]

[... it's been a long time since she really tried to talk to everyone. She smiles big for the camera.]

Hey! Today I read a really good book; it was called the Swan Princess! I didn't know some of the words, but I knew mooost of them... It must feel really funny to change into animals and stuff. But the worst is getting turned into a frog! 'Cause you'd be all slimy and green and tiny! And you'd have to get a kiss, even though you're a frog...

But I'd kiss a frog! I-if it meant helping someone change back, I'd do it! ... Maybe on the cheek!

Definitely on the cheek!

And if it was a prince maybe he'd give me a cool crown for helping him!

[Siiigh. That sounds so cool.]

I wouldn't kiss a big lion, though, because they like to scratch! Unless they say they're friendly. But I don't know anyone who knows a friendly lion...

You have a point... And there are beings in the universe who actually can live without any type of romance or a partner so I suppose he would be alright even without a family.

[Like Piccolo, for example. It's still strange and weird though.]

I couldn't do it, though. It would be too lonely, nothing beats a husband and a family.

[Good thing she's not a dragon.]

[Ugh, the kid has good unintentional aim. Then again she brought it to herself.]

No, no, I don't. I'm still too young to tie myself like that, this bird is still free to fly wherever she wants! I have a family, though, my mother and my father, we all live together.

Yes, it's really nice.

[Even though at times she just wants the other part of a family unit, husband and kids. It's irritating, honestly, and it's all Goku's fault, she hadn't began to miss such a thing until Goku went and wished her to have a healthy baby. A baby, her! With whom? Not with Yamcha, that was clear even as the other laughed and talked about it in forced cheerfulness. She knows him, that simple comment had made him be terrified and that combined with their quarrels didn't add up to any good.

She shakes her head, now is not the time to think of those things.]

Let's see... They are good people, sometimes they grate my nerves but they love each other a lot and they love me, they always support me and put up with all the things I do without complaining. Be it bringing a boyfriend home after being gone for a month or bring home to stay a whole alien community that lost their home planet. I'm really lucky to have them. My mother loves plants and is always taking care of them or making sweets, and dad is always working in new inventions or taking care of animals, he keeps bringing home any stray animal he finds, no matter what it is or how big it is.

I suppose I have taken a lot from them.

[She laughs, well, her father adopts all kinds of animals, but she also brings home all kinds of people to stay so...]

Yup! We both do, we are inventors mostly. Our company has created some of the most revolutionary machines and objects in our world, my father's hoi-poi capsules revolutionized the whole world!

[She's obviously quite proud of her father, the only person whom she could consider even a bigger genius than her, even though everyone knows that she's better than him.]

No, it's not medicine.

[Laughing, God if someone ever ate a hoi-poi capsule things would get messy.]

They are a tool, per say. You can store anything inside of them and then release it by activating the capsules. Furniture, vehicles, even houses can be stored in them! Thanks to people moving from one city to another was made easier and many problems with parking cars and the like were solved. Can't find place to park? Just store your car in a capsule and carry it in your pocket.

[Magic.]

Science. It wasn't easy to create them but once you get around the hardest part of the compression principles it's pretty easy. If you want I can explain it better when you're older.

I promise. It's not as if it's a secret, but you're still too little to understand it well.
