25th Teddy Bear [Voice/Action][TWO DAYS]
[[Nighttime; June 23rd]]
[Elicia had had a tough week.
Shuffle, shuffle—the sound of turning blankets and small feet moving back and forth through them. She's been rolling in her sleep for a few minutes now, flipping her hidden journal into a little book tepee, while it records the buzzing air and soft incoherent murmurings of a child dreaming. They're not happy dreams, after a while, and it takes but a moment before she's wide awake and horrified and crawling under her blankets with her mouth in a shaky near-crying line. The journal. That's right.
She reaches over and opens it up all the way, unable to see anything in the dark. Her voice is watery and lined with a sort of innocent, hurt desperation when she speaks.]
[Voice]
Please tell me a story. I wanna hear stories, if anyone... wants to talk... I like them a lot. I—I promise I'll go back to sleep, but I just wanna hear one...
[Pretty, pretty please...
But despite stories, sometime in the night, she rises up from her bed and patter-pitters quickly into her parents' room. Scary, they're too scary—and they could be real. Because she's seen scary real things like it before. And the last thing she wanted was a blue-eyed woman slowly creaking out of her closet, like she kept imagining, over and over and over again...]
[[Daytime; June 24th]]
[It was a cold snap, today. Elicia wore her poofy pink jacket for the occasion. Truth be told, she's had a very tiring night of trying to sleep, and she'd failed at it fairly well. There were a mesh-up of things. Scary things. She didn't want to draw any of them, so she decided on focusing her attention to playing. By the end of her short-lived playtime outside, she's laying on her arm on the front steps of her house, the fake pink sword Law gave her still clamped in her hand.
A good nap. There was nothing scary... Just good. That was important. It's a good thing children bounce back well enough, even if only for a while, because she's got a content air about her later on in the day. Anyone who wants to visit, now's a great time to; she'll be drawing funny circles all over the ground outside with a stick. Clapping her hands and smacking them. And nothing happens. :|
But she sure as hell is pretending something's happening.]

Bam!! Now you can't stand against my dirt alchemy!! [throws dirt up with her hands at her big teddy bear >:^(
HA, screw you, teddy, you've got dirt on your head!]
You'd better give up soon, or else I'll have to use my water attack next!!
[AND THEN YOU'LL BE MUDDY!!!]
((ooc: Just make it clear which day you're replying to and all that. I have faith in you. |Db))

[Riku could probably tell a thing or two, of course.]
Re: voice
I like any stories, but I 'specially like good endings... I don't like sad ones.
voice
[Well, he could always sugar coat things a bit.]
And what about adventure stories? That work for you?
Re: voice

But it could get kind of long. You up for it?
Re: voice
[as shown by her cradling her bear and leaning in.]
I'm not sleepy, so I can listen to the whooole thing!
voice -- man, this is more tl;dr than I expected
[Hmm, where to start... Well, don't most stories start with 'once upon a time'?]
Once upon a time, there were three friends who lived on an island. Two boys and one girl. They spent their days hanging out, racing, and watching the sunsets. But one day they decided to leave their world. They built a raft and hoped that they could visit other worlds together.
That night, there was a storm. Monsters attacked the island, and the three friends got separated. The girl disappeared, and one of the boys chose to follow the darkness. Let's call him the rogue. As for the other boy, he stayed behind and got a magical key that could destroy the darkness. We'll call him the Keybearer.
Anyway, the Keybearer and rogue ended up in separate worlds, and they spent a while looking for each other. Problem is, an evil witch found the rogue and started to mess with his head. At the same time, the Keybearer made two new friends who helped him on his journey. After a while, the Keybearer and the rogue met up again, but by then the witch already had a hold on him.
He thought the Keybearer replaced him. That his new friends were all that mattered. So he stuck with the witch, who promised to help him find the girl.
The Keybearer kept fighting the darkness and saving worlds, while the rogue worked with the witch. Eventually he saw the girl again, but she was in a deep sleep and couldn't wake up. Not unless they gathered seven princesses together to open a secret door. The rogue didn't care if it was wrong. He wanted to save his friend, no matter what. So he started to capture the princesses, while the darkness took a hold of his heart.
Things got pretty tense between the rogue and the Keybearer. While the Keybearer became a hero of the worlds, the rogue continued to follow the witch, sinking deeper and deeper into the darkness.
By the time the Keybearer and his new friends made it to the witch's castle, it seemed like it was too late. The witch had almost all the princesses, and the rogue even took the Keybearer's weapon for a while. But the Keybearer wasn't afraid. Even without a weapon, he stayed true to his heart and his friends. The Key returned to him, and the two boys fought. In the end, even darkness couldn't compete with a strong heart.
So the Keybearer made it through the castle and defeated the witch, even after she changed into a dragon. He even found the girl, but she was still fast asleep. That's when the rogue showed up again, but he wasn't himself. After he lost to his friend, the rogue met with an evil demon, who promised him power. Instead, he stole tricked the rogue and took over his body.
The demon told the Keybearer that the only way to save the girl was to release her heart. That's right, her heart was inside him all along, safe from the darkness.
Now the Keybearer had to save two of his friends. He beat the demon and saved the girl. And the rogue even fought back long enough for his two friends to escape. It gave the Keybearer enough time to bring the girl to a safe place and get ready for the final battle. He'd have to go through the realm of darkness to stop the demon and save the worlds once and for all.
It was his toughest battle yet. It put the Keybearer in the deepest darkness with the odds against him. But when all hope seemed lost, his light shone through the darkness. He defeated the demon and prepared to seal the heart of all worlds.
He met up with the rogue one last time, but this time he was ready to help. Together with a long lost king, they closed the final door and saved the worlds.
It was a rough journey for all of them, but in the end, they all did what was right. Even the rogue.
[Aaand that was a mouthful, especially since it was an extremely simplified version of his and Sora's journey.]
Re: voice -- lol!
[8U]
Th-that's a really good story, Mr. Riku! Did you really think of it aaaall by yourself? I'd never be able to think of that by myself!!

Re: voice
It's getting real late, so maybe that's not a good idea—
N-not that I'm scared! 'Cause I'm not!
voice
Don't worry. I won't tell anything scary at this hour.
Re: voice
Mr. Riku isn't scared of very much stuff, huh?

Besides, he's not your standard werewolf. He changes whenever he wants.

Re: voice
S-so I might see a werewolf, if I'm outside? A nice one?
voice
[Horse-sized wolf? Aw yis.]
Re: voice
[Active imagination. It happens. |D]

[Gosh, that imagination just makes her even more adorable.]
