11th Teddy Bear [Kinda Accidental but Much Desired]

[Elicia had been planning to make a post out of curiosity for what was happening around her, but... looks like she's gotten struck with experiment fever as well.]

Papa, papa!!

[The screen is black, and behind that quiet but familiar cry is a 'mew!' of worry. The journal shifts and then turns up entirely, knocked off whatever it had been perched on, to show a fuzzy ear and most of Elicia's room... which is followed by a fuzzy kitten face. Is that the edge of a dress on its head? It most certainly is.]

Papa, I'm tiny! [meuuw!] I didn't do anything, promise! But I'm really tiny!

...I have paws!

[She would find this exciting, if not for the fact that... well, it's harder to move around as a kitten than anyone would think. She's wobbling and swaying and side-stepping all over the place.]

So... whatcha' gonna do when it's a biiiig kitty?

[She stands on her haunches and lifts her paws, as if to reiterate. Y'know, in case 'biiiig kitty' wasn't a clue enough.]

[A short giggle.]

I'm not sure. But, he will learn how to feed himself in the Spring. [As in hunt wildlife. But Saber figures the cat is a young child, so there's no need to possibly frighten her.]

Oh! Does that mean we'll have a big lion in the forest?!

[identity profile] heroicarturia.livejournal.com 2010-11-24 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps. He won't grow that large too soon. [Not that he'll be anywhere near Moro's size.] Lions are not very good for this environment, so he won't always be out in the forest. Maybe the mountains.

Lions can live in the mountains? But isn't it real cold, up high like that?

[identity profile] heroicarturia.livejournal.com 2010-11-24 06:49 pm (UTC)(link)
It is, but many lions are used to such climates. At least when it gets warmer.

Yes. I'm not sure if he will even grow anymore, but if he does I will have to release him into the wild.

But that's okay, 'cause you can visit him in the wild, right?
