[Jilly's routine had settled into something almost regular. Make coffee. Feed Cupcake and the kitten they'd talked Bones into keeping (if they hadn't already mewed Bones into feeding them earlier), grab her journal and - if the weather permitted- head outside.
With recent events, she doesn't feel like wandering far. Buffy had said that mallynapping seemed to happen when you were alone. And while she wasn't afraid for her own sake, they'd had too many people disappear in the last few days for her to take a careless risk.
So, for now, she's sitting on the edge of the fountain sketching people as they wander by, rather than heading into the forest or down to the ocean.
Later, she might go to her studio, but right now she likes the company even if it's just in the form of people watching]
