But it sparks a barrage of images within this small child's brain that would probably make a therapist shake their heads. Things like floating objects and scary figures and things under her bed oh god. Acute paranoia tonight, this one. So she speaks in a really low whisper as though she's on a secret mission, hidden up to her ears in blanket. Must be a nice windy winter night.]

Are ghosts real? They aren't, right? But—But I guess good ghosts are okay! Do those count? Are they real either?

[Her eyes dart from one side of the room to the other, and she's totally expecting something scary to happen on one side or the other. Any minute now. No, no, be brave, there's nothing going on. Nothing at aaaaall. ;~;

I imagine the bad ghosts would play mean tricks on you when you're not looking. Like shutting the door when you're asleep. Or putting stuff on the ground for you to trip on.

[This is the part where he should be trying to get her to go back to sleep, but nope. This sounds like fun.]

Well, we do have a few lamps in the living room. And there's at least one flash light in the kitchen.

Hmm, well, we had lots of other adventures while we were there. There were some bad guys, and we had to fight them, and we found a lot of treasure too. But then we camped out in the jungle-- a jungle in the sky!-- and we tried to work out what to do next, and we worried about our ship, because we didn't know if it would manage to make it all the way back down to the blue sea again. And we might have danced with some wolves, but that's another story too.

Then we slept. And in the early hours of the morning, Usopp woke up and heard the sound of hammering coming from the Going Merry.

For all the good it does them! You should see them trying to fit through a doorway! Baaa ha ha ha!

Yup! But he looks like any human would. Except for a funny hairdo that never changes. He had a monkey tail when he was little but we cut that.
